Any view on why MCI down to $34. 625 if GTE offering $40 cash at closing. I understand the time value of money factor. But I don't understand why MCI stock not holding up better with GTE offer.

Has BT stock been nailed in England. If so, the BT bid is actually lower than originally planned probably, and there may be some concern that both GTE and Wcom could lower? Who knows.
