Lucius, I have an account with Smith Barney and have had no trouble at all getting through. I pay somewhat higher commisions than discount brokers, although I do get preferred rates, and the service and personal relationship I have with my broker are more than worth the slight extra charge to me. BTW, I have been thinking of a possible scenario for the market, near term. The vast consensus at this time is that after this rebound, the market has to test the lows again. If everyone thinks this and loads up on puts and goes short, it could trigger the reverse and drive the market higher. Any comments? Regards, JB
