JQP, but it is impossible to elect anyone different than these lying turds. let me be clear - it is impossible for someone to tell the american people the truth and get elected. we demand liars and drunken sailor spending. a certain psychological profile fits this bill and you need look no further than our elected officials to figure out the type of person. this is our fault. we, as a society, are every bit as greed bag as the bankers, we just don't have the opportunity to steal as much as they do. you could clean house in government and they've be replaced by new names who would lie to get elected and then spend us into oblivion. nothing would change since we are the root cause. that doesn't make these criminals any less guilty, it just means we are guilty for making lies and excess spending a prerequisite for their job. again, we may well deserve to burn for squandering the gift we've been given.
