I thought you claimed you understood economics?

It depends on the underlying economy, i-node. It isn't automatic. For example, at the moment, consumer spending is way down, although it might be stabilizing. In such and environment, it isn't inflationary. Although in the face of deflation, that might not be a bad thing.

"The inflation will get here in 18-24 months."

Should I bookmark this?

Nah, what would be the point? You would spin, bob, weave and hand wave to 'prove' that the lack of inflation is really very high inflation...
