I covered my butt with put options in case we did drop, and we will again. I won't sell though-there is too much chance that it could continue up
for me to give up and wait for the eventual fall. This drop from around 10 to 6 3/4 over the past few days
is directly related to the selloff on wallstreet. People were taking profits in fear that missing the opportunity to sell now would mean missing the opportunity
to cash in on big gains. That was part of the story with such stocks as AMAT. Yeah, they'll miss out long term, but many people can't see that far ahead.
In addition, it is close to the end of a month and brokers want to cash in on commission as well as hedge funds wanting to make their performance for their fiscal
year stay high, so they'll sell and pay the big hat man his cut. This way they can post big gains for the year. They'll be back
once the market calms. This thing is far from over.
All I can say about BCMD is that it has mines in northern California. I had hopes in the early 90s for a spike, but took my money elsewhere when I wised up.
Oct. 14th it came out with news that it had found high grade ore and the stock went to about 1.75 on volume of 15 million shares. My question is why would anyone want to invest in these kind of stocks.
I bought some to cash in on a potential spike that may be coming. A penny for sure, but I am hoping for a big, quick hit. I am watching it closely and wandering what else I need to be looking for
besides the big news that there is gold in them thar hills!! What should I be concerned about? Thanks.
