You discount the fact that we put the Shah's father in power and invalidated a democratic election because of our oil interests in Iran. You seem to feel that no one remembers that,

Very few remember it. Tiny numbers.

Just as very few of you have any recollection of the Vietnam war and the way our returning veterans were treated (and we all thought it would never happen again, and just look at what the way the bentways and tejeks of the Left have treated our soldiers now!)

In fact, few of you even recall 9/11. As predicted.

These kids in the streets in Iran don't give a shit about the Shah. They want their freedom.

While there have been a few Iranians on TV saying, "Oh, they just want to be left alone", according to CNN the influx of emails and twitter messages on this subject has been massive and these protesters are wondering why the US hasn't spoken out.

I don't know why you think Iranian kids would "remember" events that happened 30 years before they were born.
