The other side of the coin is that there will be rationing under a single payer system. It certainly is not going to save money. I am getting older, which is better than the alternative, and would not want the government to tell me whether I cab be treated. Where would you go for treatment. I would like to hear more discussion alternative plans. For example I have not problem paying for regular doctors visits and maybe $2500 to $5,000.0 in meds a year. I am more interested in coverage for catastrophic coverage. I have a friend with similar coverage and it is affordable according to him.
