You give Bernanke WAY too much credit. The government/banker types are very elitist and arrogant. To think he would be rational, admit his mistake, and make a major course correction, is just plain crazy. He will probably need to be replaced. No news yet but it looks like SWC will have to renegotiate with GM. Stock dropping pretty hard today on higher than normal volume. Typical illegal insider selling on news not yet public? SEC will, as always, do nothing.
