GDX - If market drops and GDX moves down even slightly with it, I am gone from gold miners. The miners held up well in the depression. In Oct 29 the miners fell by 50% and most came back close to but never reached the highs they did in 1928 and gold mining towns boomed in the depression. But this is 2009 and gold price is not fixed by gov so I am not sure gold will hold up in this deflation. Miners that have low gold costs and good cash flow should hold up better but who knows.
