I could care less what MSFT stock does - I just think it's fun to vent my frustrations about a company I hate. I don't believe in bashing companies for the sake of trying to influence stock trading. I would never do that. In fact, if I had a short position or had bought a put, I'd keep completely silent here or on any other MSFT thread. I'm sure MSFT will continue to climb to new highs and Bill will get richer and richer. I'm just tired of Microsoft employees with no engineering degree running around calling themselves engineers. Novell is just as bad with this one. I'm tired of 95 and NT crashing on me (and having to use them in the first place). I'm tired of all the "user-friendly" garbage which doesn't work all the time, and takes control away from the user, lumped together into a big blob which they claim is an operating system.

NT crashes on you? I'd like to hear about that (honestly) because I develop on it daily and never crash. I'd be interested to know what conditions cause it to crash for you. I certainly believe you though - I have seen some hardware devices bring it down.

I'm guessing from your disgust at "user-friendly"-ness that you are a UNIX man. I wouldn't dismiss NT as an OS too hasitly - I haven't seen another OS do something NT couldn't (except scale past 4 processors).
