Little Joe; I can't think of one major program that the government runs well. What you want to live in a cave? You are protected daily because the government runs a great military. You are protected from crime because the government in the form of a police force runs well. You are protected from fire because the government runs well. Your libray gives you ample books to read as well as other sources and does so running well. You are safe in the air and in the foods you eat because the government runs well. I get my electricity and it almost never fails because the PUD runs well. My mail gets delivered on time and undamaged because the post office runs well. Everyone bitches about government just as they get the huge benefits every single day of government. Is it perfect, not by a long shot. But if people would work to make it better instead of constantly bitching - it could be even better yet. Unless you go live in a cave and eat nothing but bats and spend your hours drawing little stick men on the cave walls - you get the bountiful benefits of government. steve
