Cooked items sound like a no, but plates, and cutlery handled sound like items that may transmit.

Disease incubates from 3 to 13 days, during which it is transmissable.

For a few days after getting over it, it is still transmissable.

The disease lasts from onset to tertiary or recovery about 4 to 7 days, possibly longer like many flus. Symptoms vary.

If one gets tamiflu within 48 hours of onset of severe symptoms, the disease may run a milder course.

Symptoms may include headache, congestion, body aches and pains all over, fevers (104 temp) and chills, extreme fatigue and malaise, stomach upset, and diarrhea.
