Let me reply to a pet issue: What is the legitimate role of the Federal Government? 1. Court system! 2. National Defense! 3. Police Protection! Primarily and exclusively enforcement of the constitution from a strict constructionist view point. 4. Clean food supply? 5. Functioning national road system? 6. Oversight of extremely hazardous materials? 7. K-12 school system? 8. Post office? 9. Health care? Run "well;" my definition of "well" is ongoing and consistent competitive value received for dollars invested.
