Yeah, after presiding over the greatest terrorist attack on American soil, with 3000 dead, he kept us safe.

9/11 was planned long in advance of Bush taking the oath of office.

The intelligence failure that in part made it possible was due to policies put in place by the Clinton administration (remember the Wall, that prevented CIA and FBI from talking to each other? Thank you Jamie Gorelick!). I suspect that's an observation that's eluded you.
