TH, if Bernanke puts the breaks on his treasury purchases, do interest rates go up?

i think he does whatever he thinks will bring rates down.

high interest rates are the bomb that will blow up the ponzi scheme. they will further collapse the housing market, the banks, consumer spending,blow up the deficit as interest expenses explode, etc...

i've concluded the bond market will be defended at all costs. the stock market is a relative luxury compared to the necessity of keeping rates low.
