The story about the governor of South Carolina disappearing without letting anyone know that he was going or where he was going has to be the funniest item on the news lately. He was on The Appalachian Trail hiking, er, no, sorry, he was in Buenos Aires. Easy to make that mistake. As Evita sang, "Don't cry for me dope smoking hikers." We can't exactly brag about our last two idiot governors here in Texas, but when former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Rick Perry leaves the country, he's still in Texas. At least in his wee mind.
