Is Obama powerless or ???? news.yahoo.com Citi boosting salaries to offset lower bonuses Technically/legally....pretty much. When Paulson/Bush gave all that money to Citi and the gov't got 34% of Citi shares, they didn't require that they get a seat on the board. You have to wonder why.....Paulson knows how corp. governance works. So now, Obama has to arm twist Citi and that will give you wingers another chance to call him a socialist.
