That's an interesting 'human interest story'.... I think it might help to illustrate two different types of people in this world. One group (I'm sure we are both familiar with) would have never dreamed of asking a stranger for an opinion... because only their own views matter to them.... While another group (elderly lady you ran into must be one of these) is more 'tied-in' to the human comedy, more an active part of a wider human world... and for her, the opinions of a couple of total strangers was exactly what she was looking for. :-)
