that article is actually a couple of months old, but I hadn't seen it before.

I think that the most amazing thing is that Obama is doing these outrageous things as if they are non-events. And I think much of the population is too stunned or ignorant to react.

President fires GM CEO......"oh, ok...umm, I guess that's ok. He was obviously a evil greedy big businessman. And he is the president afterall...."

President fires Inspector Genereal...."what's an inspector general do anyway? who cares? and the president is the boss!"

President throws away the rights of secured investors in favor of unsecured investors to whom he owes favors....."what right do they have to complain? this is about the greater good!"

President nationalizes auto companies......"think of all the jobs he saved!"

etc......

There is a bravado here that defies logic.

I've always said that I hate charismatic politicians. Obama is the best evidence I have ever seen.

my bet is that before long we are going to see something akin to an "Obama Youth" movement.
