Yes.

First, he chooses to make himself a public figure. That said, I looked at his (sorry) publication record when he dismissed the lorca results.

If you're going to dismiss statsig results and a responder analysis that (given honesty from Lief et al.) hit FDA target, you should have done such based on optimal weight loss from fenfluramine as a stand-alone. There's no rationale for believing that lorca should be better than the gold standard, same target (2C).

As you know, I am no fan of Lief et al.

So I went to look at his publication record, trying to determine how a chip-on-shoulder might effect objectivity. I found a potential answer..... shitty scientist, avid blogger. It is very difficult to spend 20 years in biomedical research without making a single contribution, but we MAY have found the individual who can make that claim??

What measures do I use for productivity? 1. Publication in good journals, requiring something more than the simple description of a NCE. 2. Contribution to an actual medicine, of novel reagents that facilitate the research of others, etc.

I am not going to engage you further on this subject.
