The problem with getting the government involved is that a) it doesn't know what a healthy diet is, b) its most prominent advisors do not know what a healthy diet is, c) it has powerful food lobbies pulling in other directions, and d) there isn't enough healthy food produced to feed the whole country at an affordable price.
