Gateway 2000 Unveils Destination DMC Big Screen PC/TV >GTW ÿ 10/27/97 Dow Jones News Service (Copyright (c) 1997, Dow Jones & Company, Inc.) ÿ NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (Dow Jones)--Gateway 2000 Inc. (GTW) unveiled the Destination DMC big screen PC/TV. In a press release Monday, the company said the Destination DMC combines four digital media platforms: DVD , Digital TV, Internet video communications access, and 3D gaming. Destination DMC will be offered with two monitor choices, a 31-inch SVGA monitor and a 36-inch Multimode SVGA monitor. Destination DMC will be priced starting at $2,499. Gateway makes and markets PCs.
