I havent seen anybody here post about an aortic valve problem, but if you are aware of someone with one, know that Dr Davis has seen some great results with Vitamin D supplementation. repairing the aortic valve. Doesn't always happened, but does enough times for it to be worth doing. He added this comment today:

Circumstantial data suggest this may be effective. Note that people who take Coumadin--a vitamin K1/K2 blocker--experience acceleration of aortic valve calcification and stenosis. Given the fact that vitamin K2 is yet another major control factor over calcium metabolism along with vitamin D, K2 has some potential for added benefit. It's certainly a benign factor. Dose? No data, but I suspect doses of at least 1000 mcg per day are likely to exert some effect with virtually no risk for side-effects.
