I am sure he wants the regime to fail now that they showed their true colors. I don't know when he said it. But it was a stupid remark then, and would be now. When are you going to understand that Obama's foreign policy is a train wreck? That you can't negotiate with people for whom the only solution is to "wipe Israel off the face of the earth"? Do you think Ahmedenijad was just was being himself? That he wasn't reflecting the views of the leadership with that crap? Have you forgotten they're the deep pockets behind the ongoing, unjust war against Israel? Obama is taking bad situations, all over the world, and making them worse. Iraq could well fall back into the insurgency of three years ago because of his stubbornness, when just slightly modifying the withdrawal plan could save it. The situation in NK has totally deteriorated since Obama took office. It was bad under Bush but 10x worse under Obama because everyone can see that Obama is weak and spineless. He's making friends with Syria, Afghanistan has only gotten worse, and you guys want to give him a pass.
