ADVFN sells SiliconInvestor and Talkzilla websites

ADVFN has sold the websites Siliconinvestor.com and Talkzilla.com to TZ Holdings LLC of Missouri, USA.

Siliconinvestor.com was part of the purchase transaction when ADVFN acquired Investorshub.com in 2006. Talkzilla is an early stage experimental bulletin board project that has since been developed internally in the USA.

The consideration for the transaction is $200,000 in cash for the properties and shares in TZ Holdings LLC giving ADVFN a 15% shareholding.

ADVFN's Chief Executive Officer, Clem Chambers, said:

'Investor's Hub is growing strongly and this transaction frees us up to concentrate our full focus on maximising its accelerating traffic and revenue, while continuing to carry an interest in the legacy Silicon Investor brand and its early stage offshoot.'

ADVFN is best known for its Bulletin Board website, ADVFN.com, where investors and others are free to comment on listed companies...all except for ADVFN plc.... which used to have a bulletin board page, but not any more. There are probably a few other listed company managements who wish their Bulletin Board pages could be summarily pulled too!
