Cap and Trade Being Pulled? [Steve Hayward] Word flying around D.C. as of 1:30 is that Waxman-Markey is being pulled, suggesting Pelosi doesn't have the votes. corner.nationalreview.com I'll take credit for this. I called Oberstar's local office this morning (gave up trying to get his DC office after it was busy for 3 hours straight). I convinced the local lackey that it was a travesty and he told be Oberstar hadn't taken a definitive position on it. I'll bet I tipped him over away from the dark side. I personally did this.
