I don't think humans are a blight, but I do recognize when humans impact things in a negative way. Do you really believe humans don't have the power to make this earth uninhabitable? You should really think again. The US has several thousand nuclear bombs that prove that we can. Fossil fuel burning, phytoplankton destruction, ocean over fishing, and deforestation are just the beginning of the list of things humans do that are not consistent with good stewardship of the planet we live on.
