Now, Robert, I know you said that you don't write very high quality
software, but please tell me this. When is it okay for code that is
in a higher level layer of software (that means it is a "client"),
cause a core dump of code in the lower level layer(which is the
"server". You know what that means, don't you?)? And I'm talking
about code in the same process space. What about separate process
space?

Something you are running on NT is causing NT to crash? Actual "blue screen" crash? If so, I'd like to hear about it.

Could you clarify your post a little? What are you trying to say with "And I'm talking about code in the same process space. What about separate process space?"? When is it OK for a program to crash another in the same process space? What about separate process space? Sorry, I'm not being facetious here - I just don't understand what you were asking.

I'll admit my software during development does all kinds of nasty
stuff. Should it corrupt the operating system? Should it cause
massive memory leaks? Would you like your car to just konk out going
down the road when you tried out your new sterio?

Keeping on defining it, Buddy.

What? Of course your software shouldn't corrupt the OS or leak memory. What are you saying?

By the way, what am I defining?
