Therein lies the problem - if that's the only corroborating data they've got.

I think that many of us who had high SAT scores (relative to those charts) wouldn't even think of giving that level of data to the census takers. So the data pool could be (is likely to be) grossly skewed.

Out of the pages and pages of personal information the census forms ask about - they get two answers from me. 1) Do I own my home? 2) How many people live under this roof?
