So this bill they passed - in the amendment - Every home in America on point of sale will have to have an energy audit and will have to meet a rating to be defined by the Energy Secretary. If it does not meet the rating, then the owner must bring into compliance before sale. As if it is not hard enough to sell a house now, after the Obama signs this we must comply with new law. That is just ONE of the provisions in the bill that passed in the House. I hope the Democrats choke on this abomination. It will have the same effect as Smoot Hawley on steroids. We will not be able to compete in the global market on any level. What’s left of our manufacturing apparatus will fall. The problem with the Democrats is - they can’t read their own damned bills before they vote it in and it’s going to bite them all in the ass in the next election. They let special interests write it. I provide a link to Waxman vieo admditing exactly that also. The cruel beauty of Obama is - he says exactly what he’s going to do. He said to the San Francisco chronicle that this legislation would cause power bills to skyrocket - he knows this will be the result - and he’s doing it anyway. I wish just once that son of a bitch would actually lie about some of the bad things he’s going to do. Instead he lied about the good things. He lied when he said he was going to close Gitmo. Yesterday he just invoked Bush and says he can hold them indefinitely. He also held over the Bush Torture and Clinton Rendition. The hard left is pissed because he lied to them and the right are pissed becuse he’s telling the truth about the socialist laws he’s going to pass and the fascist corporatism he’s implementing. The middle class is about to be REALLY pissed because the are going to get hit by the bill for this crap and the poor are not covered in the health care bill that is about to go through and cost us all two trillion dollars. He is a snake in the grass this man. Heh. Ok. Its true we are all going straight to hell under this President and he scares the ever loving crap out of me, but it’s almost worth it to see these liberals heads explode every time he screws them over. If I didn’t have kids I would be laughing my ass off. You think Republicans lie? This guy is the king of all liars. Did you hear his speech the other day on how he was a great believer in Capitalism and a free market system? I damn near wrecked the car I was laughing so hard. He had just taken over two car manufacturers and refused to allow several banks to pay off the TARP money so they could get out from under the Govt’s thumb and announces a pay czar to decide how much everyone will be allowed to earn. It was beautiful. If I did not have kids or any responsibilities I would be loving every minute of this free fall. After eight years of listening to liberals bitch about Bush - how perfect is it that the man they can’t ass-kiss enough just for his wonderfulness is completely screwing them over. The same sex benefits thing was an amazing f’you. No health benefits? Why bother doing anything at all then? It was just about as disrespectful as it comes. He’s going to make them beg for that last thing. They won’t get it unless they get him re-elected and get Democrats a safe majority in 2010 and even then he won’t do it because HE SAID HE IS AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE. He SAID it. Because of the abortion thing? The abortion thing is his eugenic piece in the health care take over. You can’t have a ton of poor people not paying into the system leeching off the benefits. It’s cheeper to abort them. He doesn’t give a rats ass about women. He paid his female staffers 93 cents on the dollar for the same work and tenure as the men. That stat was out before the election and yet people think he stands for women’s equality? If I did not have kids or any responsibilities I would be loving every minute of this. I would enjoy what I know is coming down the road because whether you voted for him or not, you’re not escaping this horror. Every idiot who thought he was going to pay their mortgage and buy their gas and they would not have to work and their taxes would not go up - they are in for the shock of their lives.
