I'm sorry, but if I suggested to the people I work with that we put even 2Mb ROM on our hardware designs to run CE, I don't think they'd want to work with me anymore. Oh. I don't really know anything about the embedded market. Who are the players in the embedded market? Is 2MB really that big? I have to believe Windows CE would be a good fit in some applications. The embedded world is still a relatively safe haven from the controlling hand of Microsoft. Gates can't handle this. If only he could get get control over embedded development... I think he's going to have to try a lot harder. Doesn't MS have the right to try and expand their businesses without everyone seeing it as some sort of power play? Why shouldn't they try and get in that market?
