MM.. the most disturbing aspect of your post is the lack of any concern over the fact that this bill was not available for study and debate.

Lack of transparency is not the way this Representative Republic is supposed to work.

First the secrecy over the stimulus package and how it was rammed through and now the energy package.

The Democrats have a majority in both houses of Congress. What do they have to fear in letting their bills be openly debated and justified.

Is this the kind of government you voted for?
