Thank you! Yes it really is and another thing that I see that has changed is when the stewardess welcomed all the passengers she mentioned that if we wanted to use the restroom and the blue light was on we had to return to our seats as we could not stand in line and wait until their departure. I told my husband "Now you see all the changes that are being made to control the population. Little by little we are losing freedoms we have taken for granted most of our lives". Also people are just being herded like cows in airports now. You can't do this or you can't do that any longer. We flew out of Hobby which is now considered our smaller airport, but used to be a main one. We prefer it as it is about twelve minutes from our home and Bush International is now our largest and it is a nightmare compared to Hobby. We only use it when forced to. It's about thirty minutes away unless a traffic accident causes a slow down. We use our Hardy Toll road to get there and it is shaves off the drive of nearly an hour.

With all the hours it took this past weekend we could have driven there and had more time to relax and then get dressed for our function. It's about a four hour trip, but you have your own car to get around in and we figured we spent over four hours getting to our destination and more fatigued than a drive would have been. Richard finally got rid of his Chrysler 300, which in my humble opinion was a piece of junk, and got a Mercedes 550, which is big and roomy and the passenger seat can be moved to a lying down position and I used that coming home. Didn't fall asleep, just closed my eyes and relaxed until a band of motorcycles came by and I put the seat back up to watch them ride. They were very polite and used hand signals for every move they made so you knew what they were intending to do and never once exceeded the speed limit. Looked like they were having a great ride and we watched them fall off as they neared their exit to their home site. Their group consisted of ten black females having fun and enjoying their ride. One had a helmet that had two pigtails flying in the wind. She looked like the smallest rider and I wondered how she handled that big hog she was riding, but she did it skillfully with her feet up on the side bar and using only her hand controls. They also all had on pink T-shirts with their logo on back. First time I have seen an all black female group ride the I-10 highway East or any highway. I think many were watching them as the right hand side seemed to slow down some when they approached us. All in all traffic was not real heavy coming home and a pleasant drive.

The Belo Mansion was really beautiful to visit and we had outstanding service while there.
