I don't do web (or any online) trading. They all require the use of Windows and I have a prejudice against using any MS software. You may have noticed from my posts that I still use Lync to browse the web. I do all my trading using Schwab's telebroker. The commision is high (about $100 per trade minus 10% for using telebroker). Execution is always instantaneous (except with AND whose short I covered today, but this is stock related not Schwab). Often, I get my order executed at a better price then I place my limit order at such as selling on the Ask or buying on the Bid. For research, I use the www though and often Yahoo (after Michael posted the URL about a year ago - thanks to Miachael for that). That was a wild day, today, and I can't believe how much money one can do when it seems that everyone is throwing stocks away. It pays to follow certain stocks for months, like a hawk, waiting for the opportunity. I will be inclined, however, to take profits (except on core holdings) ASAP as I don't feel we are out of the wood yet -- not until January IMHO. Ghassan.
