Nonsense.

1. TRA86 was a totally bipartisan effort and is often heralded as a great example of bipartisanship. It was not "rammed through". It involved five years of debate, numerous markups and remarkups, and an extended period of discussion, both within Congress and in the public.

2. TRA86, while a broad tax reform, was NOTHING on the scale of what Obama is doing. Nothing.
