your attempt is at least an honest one.....and thusly i will place it on my thread as a whole piece.

my view is oil is completely relational to meteors and comets, where bolides, not ice, make up the comets content.

correlation is not causation, but ignoring correlations is dangerous business.

organics cant become oil.

They can become rock and are represented as such throughout the geologic record, found over and over in strata affected by cataclysmic events uplifted to layers where they should not be.

petrification explains the disappearance of most organics in proximity to cataclysm.

There are some very good papers at my Peak oil blog, you should read them.

if you view the only know real time impact imagery
( Shoemaker), you will see that meteors masked in a comets nomenclature deposited huge pools of oil on Jupiter, it took 8 months for the oil, post impact to seep into the fractured strata below.

organics are contaminants found in recovered oil, as oil moves within fractured strata, or sloshing in cavities or reservoirs, it picks up the contaminants and conveys them as an holistic by product found in all production.

so, the bio marker nomenclature became, oil is derived from fossils....which is not possible.
