Actually, I think GW is nonsense, but it doesn't really matter one way or the other. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest warming will produce negative effects on the planet. There is speculation, fear and a religious like calling to protect Gaia, but that's about it. 25 years ago GW supporters were writing books and claiming the planet was going into a deep freeze. I have little doubt, if sun-spot activity continues to dwindle, they'll morph back into the freezing sound-bites and blame carbon emissions on that too. Hard core ideologues don't need science to support their cause. Neither do Pantheists who will do anything they can, short of giving up their planes and SUV's to control everyone else by legislative fiat. They want power, and this is their method of obtaining it. Power and control over other peoples lives, through taxation, laws banning certain activities, and fear.
