If I could get Mr. KLP to make a decision , it would be easy to plan everything better...He loves to think great parties just "happen, all by themselves"....or great trips, or anything that takes planning.
As far as us getting together, YES! But have to wait a bit to see if we are doing any trip this summer, and if we are, what is it? He's really torn between wanting to do some fun things, and then looks at the retirement funds that have had the meltdown, and then talks to our economist/conservative financial planner son who KNOWS that we are bound to have a total financial meltdown in the US...It's just a matter of time, and depends if the government will start printing more and more money....so it's HUGE inflation, or financial meltdown worse than the Great Depression.
I tell him not to stew....we can't do much right now anyway, and just have to hope that by the next election, people will come to their senses and think about what they are doing before they vote.
But we will get together...How far are you from Olympia? Or what's about half way between here and there... |
