Which begs the question, "when exactly will commodity scarcity arrive?". Despite quite a bit of blogging, it hasn't happened, not even close.

A good case can be made that we will likely be entering an era of unprecendented energy abundance because of a combination of new sources of energy and rapid gains in efficiency.
