Like an alcoholic, the first thing you need to do is admit you have a serious problem. Then you have to look for cures that have worked for others... there are many models around the world we can emulate. They get similar results at half the cost, exactly what we need.

This is naive and child-like commentary.

You continue to ignore the fact that a very large proportion of medical innovation -- whether techniques, drugs, equipment, whatever -- comes from the US.

Please address that before you continue on your rant. We can cut costs by simply limiting research on new drugs and equipment. Is that what you want?

We'll be doing what France does, which is to use converted 100-year old prisons as hospitals. You think that's an environment that fosters new life-saving medical techniques and procedures? I don't.

You have repeatedly refused to address the fact that government run health care costs more to administer per patient than private insurance. That was a significant point posted here in the last week that you have simply ignored. There is ZERO evidence government can do an even tolerable job of managing health care. They have totally wrecked everything they've touched, particularly HHS/CMS.

The fact is you have a leftist ideology and nothing else will do. You're not looking for a solution, you're looking for socialized medicine. Just like everyone else on the hard left.

We know that government operated medicine doesn't work. The world is replete with examples of failed attempts to provide government sponsored health care.
