One good thing about being with a full service broker like H&Q
is you get access to IPO's. It doesn't cost anything to keep an
account open, except the cost of the money. I don't know what
kind of balances you have to keep. But ideally you could just
have an account and call them when you need them and move the
money from elsewhere.

I was able to get through to Smith Barney after a 2or 3 minute
wait.
