It's certainly not unimportant. The government and academia is the one paying for the majority of the reasearch, not the insurance companies. ----------------------------------- Can you support this claim? Yes, it's been posted on this thread before. But I don't have the time/inclination to look for it now. If there are 10 companies selling identical widgets, and one is charging twice as much as all the others, you have to assume the one company is doing something wrong. --------------- Yeah. I don't know what that has to do with the discussion though. Our health care system is the one overpriced widget. Sounds like you've done your homework LOL. I do and I've seen the opposite (LOL). I seldom read this thread. Perhaps you can give me a link to your assertion. If you want a link to the US cost vs. the European costs I would be glad to help.
