Here is my July 4th message... We need Puritans who likened the corrupt church in England worthy to be evangelized along with the new republic. We need a Mayflower compact of Wall Street. We need a Pocahontas of Wall Street to come forward and marry a " John Ross" : who will take a new gospel to the US Congress. We need a baptismal font to take the place of the Wall Street Bull. We need 39 new signers of a Constitution one of which like Charles Thompson, who took 25 years to write a new Thompson Bible that was translated from the original Greek. We need a Sam Adams, not the one whose beer we drink, but the one who offered up prayers and Congressional proclamations, based on a " strong reliance on divine providence ". We need some ministers like James A Garfield who gave his life for his country. Maybe then we can have a "Yorktown" and a new beginning. I think it all begins when we have ONE individual who will give up everything he has to walk upright and will begin not a cleansing but a transfusion. We need a bone marrow transplant. We have a cancer, it is evil. We need a movement but we need the leader who will step forward and do the thing that is honorable. We need an insider who will put all personal gain aside and clear his conscience.
