There is really no 'reality' to American public life. Witness the Michael Jackson fixation. I think there could be circumstances where Palin could continue to be a force in the political field. Many people are fascinated by her beauty, confidence and crazy family life and might just want to keep the spotlight on her and watch how her family lives in the White House. It could happen in our "People Magazine" culture. Look at how many smart people were taken in by Bernard Madoff. Palin is much easier for most to identify with than Obama and Michelle whose combined IQ's dwarf most American couples.
