Treasury to Conduct Four Debt Auctions For First Time Next Week

The Treasury will hold four auctions next week for the first time to sell $73 billion of notes, bonds and inflation-protected securities as the U.S. accelerates debt sales to finance a record budget deficit.

Investors will be able to bid on $8 billion of 10-year Treasury Inflation Protected Securities on July 6, $35 billion of 3-year notes on July 7, $19 billion of 10-year notes on July 8 and $11 billion of 30-year bonds on July 9, the Treasury said today. The U.S. was expected to offer $75.6 billion of debt
