Clearly, lots of people are afraid of her... I wonder why... if she doesn't have the right stuff, then why would everyone invest so much time and energy bashing her?

Believe me, there is no fear on the Democratic side. She would be the ideal candidate for Obama to run against in 2012. As Krauthammer points out, she does not have the policy chops at present to do more than give her standard prepared speech. She has never taken questions in a press conference setting. Her interviews on national issues have been weak at best. If Obama has to defend an ongoing economic weakness in 2011, he does not want to see Romney or Gingrich at the other podium. He wants to see Palin. Her perceived lack of readiness will be an ideal Democratic attack ad. And the "cheesecake" photos with the American Flag drapped over a chair! will be played for all it is worth.

The people "afraid" are the money people of the GOP. They want here gone, back to Alaska, now. Not to reappear for four years minimum. Krauthammer is one of the initial spokesmen tabbed to deem her "unready", but there will be many more coming forth.

Fear about Sarah is all in the Elephant camp.
