Bearcat; Sorry to hear you think something needs to be done - but then you have no faith in Obama. Conservatives will never get a seat at the table coming at it from such a point of view. Nor should they. What they will get from the American public though is blame. Blame for being the party of "no". ........And that is why I think health care does not get done. Obama has done what he does best - put himself in a no lose situation. If he gets health care through he gets credit. If he offers a valid plan and the republicans stop it they get the blame. Same thing with his SC nomination. By nominating a Latino he gives the republican a choice; they can go along with him or they can put out efforts to stop this nomination. They do that and they offend Latinos who move more solidly to Obama. Sometimes I think the republicans don't even see what he is doing to them. Bunch of dumb clowns if you ask me. But hey, theyre good at abandoning their wife and four small kids and running off to Argintina to fall in love........ steve
