Nah, I didn't see too much substance in it. He presented his background beautifully, wove it into a Good All-American Story. Made people wonder "who is this guy"? Yeah, yeah, by now every one of us has heard The Speech a hundred times, he reprises it in every speech he gives. There are lots of politicians who can give a good speech. The speech still wasn't nearly good enough to make the country ready to elect a state senator President. That requires a lot more explanation.
