100 years ago Germans sold children by the road side. Would get some money, get rid of one mouth to feed and get the kid to survive if he was strong enough. It was in Bavaria, the catholic poorer part of Germany that was very underdeveloped as compared with the Protestant northern Germany. The son of those kids fought WWII. Today we have those Germans you know about. After WWII ended, the Bavarians got their revenge. Industry moved to the south where the ignorant, less educated Bavarians and accepted indutry with opened arms since industry was running away from heavy unionized Nothern Germany. Bavaria and Baden-Wurttenberg got the modern industry and the rest was left with smokestack industry. Now you've got that house full of crosses and images on Jesus and going to mass every Sunday and out of it you got this intellectual of high caliber discussing here with MQ. One new generation supersedes the old one and has nothing to do with the past.
