I caught that somewhere last night, too. A new National Building Code that supercedes all Local/State Codes...calling for 20% increases in home efficiency and stepping up to 50% increases over the next 10-20 years. Not adopting the standards would result in the State and/or city being docked carbon credits.

The more I read on this Bill, the more disgustingly apparent the ramifications become. This thing is going to be a LEVIATHAN. And of course, as always, follow the money.

I will say this though...you have got to hand it to Gore. With an inside track into the mania of our elected officials, he was incredibly far sighted in setting up that carbon trading outfit so long ago.

Wonder where GS has there did little finger stuck into this?
